- User role (driver, carrier, shipper, or receiver).

b. Shipment and Tracking Information
To enable shipment visibility and tracking, SKIPON collects:
- Pickup and delivery locations and times.
- Shipment identifiers, tracking IDs, and route details.
- Status updates (in transit, delivered, delayed, etc.).
c. Location Data (Drivers and Carriers)
- SKIPON collects real-time GPS location data from drivers’ or carriers’ mobile devices only when tracking for an active shipment is enabled.
- Once a shipment is marked as “delivered,” the location tracking link and data visibility automatically expire.
Location data is shared only with authorized shippers and receivers who have been provided a valid tracking ID.
d. Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect certain technical information, such as:
- Device type, operating system, and browser type.
- IP address and geolocation (approximate).
- Log data, timestamps, and usage metrics.
e. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
SKIPON uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain user sessions.
- Improve performance and user experience.
- Analyze usage patterns and detect fraud.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
2. How We Use Your Information
SKIPON uses collected information to:
- Provide and improve shipment tracking functionality.

We do not sell, rent, or lease personal data to third parties.
3. Sharing of Information
SKIPON may share data only under the following conditions:
a. With Authorized Users
- Drivers’ live location and shipment status are shared with the specific shipper and receiver assigned to that shipment.
- Shippers and receivers may access the data through the tracking link or tracking ID only for legitimate purposes.
b. With Service Providers
We may share limited data with trusted third-party providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud storage, analytics, or notification systems).
These providers are contractually bound to handle data securely and only as instructed by SKIPON.
c. For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information when required by law or in response to valid legal requests (such as a subpoena or court order), or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal and shipment data only as long as necessary to:
- Fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
Tracking data related to a shipment is automatically deactivated and archived once the delivery is marked complete. Historical data may be anonymized for analytics and service improvement.

- End-to-end encryption of sensitive data and location transmissions.
- Secure servers and firewalls.
- Role-based access controls.
However, no system is 100% secure. You use the Service at your own risk, and SKIPON cannot guarantee absolute protection against all unauthorized access or breaches.

Depending on your location, you may have certain privacy rights, including:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold.
- Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual limitations.

7. Location Tracking Controls (For Drivers)
- Location sharing is voluntary and only active during an ongoing shipment.
- You can pause or disable location tracking at any time within the SKIPON app.
- Once tracking is disabled, shipment visibility stops immediately.
- Upon marking delivery as “completed,” the tracking link expires and cannot be reactivated.
8. Children’s Privacy
SKIPON does not knowingly collect or process data from individuals under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will promptly delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers, provided they comply with applicable privacy standards and legal safeguards.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
